i was able to be crafty tonight. finished a couple of layouts and even crocheted a little flower. still practicing the flowers . . . trying to actually make two that resemble each other. it won't be long now i can feel it. lol!
first off i finished the layout for my grandma. i just can't seem to ever say no to her. ;) i did this layout for her to give to my great, great aunt for her 80th birthday party this weekend. obviously you've seen this picture before since it's the same as i used for the layout that was raffled off, but my aunt fell in love with the layout and since she did not recieve the one at the reunion i made her one of her very own.
all the papers and die cuts are basic grey and prima flowers. the little scallops at the bottom i crocheted.
after finishing this up i finally got back to a layout that has been sitting around for awhile. i really can be so slow when it comes to actually scrapbooking. still not sure if i like how it fell together, but i'm happy that it is a day remembered and a page to go into wes' scrapbook. not to mention that this was all for fun. no assignment, no having to use certain paper or pictures. i must say it feels good!
side note: this is a horrible scan. irl it really isn't crooked and the background paper is a lot more rich in color.
well i'm off to bed, i have a fun day planned tomorrow with some scrappy friends. so excited!
