yikes a case of the blog slackiness going on around here. between not spending time on the computer and just sitting back and enjoying my spring break with the boys i just haven't gotten around to posting.
we had a great weekend together. brandon took thursday and friday off from work and we spent pretty much all weekend non stop. friday brandon and i even got a date in while wes went to the zoo with his friend. and saturday brought a get together with some of my high school friends. it was so much fun sitting around talking about old times while the husbands played wii (thank goodness there was video games. one of the fastest bonding for guys can be done over video games. lol!) and all the kids playing and getting to know each other. crazy to think how much time has pasted since high school and how much has gone on in each others lives.
easter sunday brought the new scooter brought by the easter bunny and wes scrambling to get a quick ride in before church.
now it's back to the norm . . . so hard after such a great weekend, of which i took no pictures. lol! yeah the scrapparazzi in me is dying a little i think. the jury is still out on that decision.
i do however need to record wes' current obsession. the phrase 'mama mia'. he repeats it after almost everything he says and often as a response to a question.
me: wes would you like to have noodles or a sandwich for lunch?
wes: mama mia

me: wes can you please pick up your shoes and socks.
wes: mama mia!

me: it's time to go, you need to hurry!
wes: mama mia!
can i tell you i'm so sick of hearing it! not only that but it seems it's starting to rub off onto his friend and other kids at school . . .
Happy Belated Easter! I didn't take very many pics of my kids either. OOPS! I guess I'll have a mock Easter in their Sunday clothes this coming weekend! LOL! Glad to hear I'm not the only one! HUGS to you!
