Not sure if that should have lots of exclamation points behind it or if I should be worried about the summer that will be in our very near future. I can hardly believe we have no snow left and how warm it has been. I noticed the other morning that I have a few little tulips starting to peek out of the ground. As I went out today to get the mail out of the box (with no shoes on) that yes, in fact Spring is here - in the middle of February.
And apparently with the Spring like weather came the rush of a few colds. I've been up the last two nights with a very stuffed up and congested boy who is only sleeping when he is either sleeping on me or on the corner of the coach propped up.
I was scared to leave him sleeping there alone so I ended up binge watching Season 6 of Parenthood on Xfinity and getting a few cat naps in through the night. The last time I was this tired was when he was a newborn. Thank goodness it was my day off. I got some more medicine in the boy, took a short nap, and instead of getting the dishes and laundry done I played with a little paper.
I'm loving that I've been creating layouts that are just for us lately. I haven't been trying to fill a deadline or needing to use product and it feels good just to be recording a few moments of our lives.
The layout, it's all about his thing for cheese. I hear this multiple times a week before lunch and it made the perfect title. So the paper tearing . . . I wonder when I did that last?! ;)
I did a great job ignoring the laundry, but it's calling now load and clear. Hopefully I can get back to the scrap desk and get more of those memories down on paper soon.
