Weekdays the alarm goes off at 6 AM. I always lay in bed and check email and facebook before I'm forced to get up and get Brandon to work.
The sun is just coming up this time of the year as I drive to Ogden.
Mondays tend to be the busiest days of my work week. Not working on Sundays I have all the cakes that sold the past two days to put back in the case. Eleven for today. Not too many in terms of amount and even the order was a quick cake to do.
A quick trip to the grocery store for more fruits and veggies.
I grabbed yogurt that I just picked up (super delicious by the way), got love from the boys, before unloading and putting everything away.
Lunch was leftovers.
Most of my afternoon this summer has been trying to keep the boys off electronics and doing chores. It's not always successful or without tantrums.
The little guy was really mad that I wouldn't let him play Minecraft.
This one not happy that I was making him wash all the larger dishes by hand.
The mountain of laundry I tackled while watching the new episode of The Last Ship.
Some work for me on the computer before picking Brandon up from work.
Thomas came with me and as usual fell asleep in the car.
Brandon Peterson came over right as we got home and worked his magic and got the swamp cooler running. It's amazing having friends who can fix such things. We have been suffering through the immense heat and as soon as he knew he made plans to come over and get it fixed for us.
I was so excited to get back in the kitchen to cook and bake that I ended up making three apple cobblers from all the apples going soft in our very warm kitchen.
One for us, one for the Peterson's, and one for Vanessa and Adam. After putting them all in the oven I started on our dinner. Brandon cooked the bacon for the yummy blt's.
With the fixing of the swamp cooler and then a later dinner we didn't get our workout in until after 9. What matters though is that we got it in. Insanity Power Cardio once again kicked out butts.
