Last Spring our family did the unexpected and went on a trip to Moab for the weekend. I'm such a planner that to wake up on a Monday morning and decide to book a hotel room and gather funds for a trip is simply unheard of, but I had this desire to go and so go we did. We had quite the experience that I'm getting all documented, but it was so worth it. My boys still talk about our trip and how fun it was to hike and climb in Arches.
I was able to use the fabulous Noel Mignon Let's Get Lost kit (Daily Diary & Classic) for April to document some of the pictures I took that day.
For anyone that follows me a bit on my scrapbook adventures you might realize that a double page spread is unheard of. I don't often do it, but I loved the results of spreading my pictures over to pages. It gave me a lot of room to include journaling, title work, and space for everything else. I really need to do this more :)
The title is a combination of Silhouette cuts and chipboard thickers.
After finishing up this layout I decided to include more photos as a small insert using a 6x12 pocket style page.
Only a few more things to add for journaling and this trip is in the books.
