Tuesday is generally my day off. Today started with some sleeping in and being woken by a little boy playing Minecraft on my bedroom floor so his kindle could charge. He gives great commentary on what is going on to Steve, the sheep, and any Underman or Zombies that are attacking him.
I also noticed that the sun was up before me. Something that only happens during the summer on my day off.
Once I was awake I checked the usual email, instagram, blog reading before getting up.
Thomas chose cereal for breakfast.
I made my usual breakfast and started in on some of the dishes.
Since this was the last week of summer I let Wes sleep in quite a bit ;)
A little screen time after breakfast while I worked on the computer and while big bro was getting his breakfast.
Today was a long day in trying to keep the boys entertained and cleaning.
They have spent most of the summer asking, "Is Nessa home yet?!" She bought a Minecraft game for them on the Xbox and they love going down and spending an hour or so with her. They asked this morning and since her finals week is going on she has been home more. I even chilled for a bit between loads of laundry and visited while they played. It's so nice having my little sis live downstairs.
Lunch was sandwiches with yogurt and fruit.
The rest of the afternoon the boys tried to keep themselves entertained because I ruled it a no screen time.
Hi-ho CherryO. One of Thomas' games Wesley loathes and Thomas usually wins.
Brandon home from work and unwinding from the day by watching his show he DVR's.
At one point I looked out the window and caught them both in the pool. There was much laughter and screaming going on.
After dinner it was chill time on the coach to let our food digest and watch the new Teen Wolf episode. One of two shows Brandon and I still watch together.
Thomas was done for the day. You can always tell because he starts getting really whiney and he was complaining about something on his kindle again. I convinced him to come cuddle with me and within minutes he was out.
Later than I would have liked, but we finished off the day with a session of Insanity.
